United States Army retired Colonel Brenda Andrews has over thirty years of experience leading and commanding personnel organizations at various levels, with the mission of maintaining personnel readiness and operational capabilities of the Army. She successfully led large diverse organizations and was responsible for the human dimension of readiness supporting over 150,000 Soldier and Families in the Pacific Theater for the largest, most geographically dispersed Theater. She empowered people, instilled trust and confidence in the workforce through effective training, coaching, setting standards, measuring results and rewarding employees. Andrews implemented management control programs to assess vulnerabilities and ensured adequate safeguards were in place and operated effectively. She planned and executed logistics and training operations, as well as advised the Army’s senior civilian and military leadership on personnel programs affecting Service members and proposed solutions. Previously in her career, she served as the Director of Personnel Management, US Army Pacific, Chief of Staff/Deputy Chief of Staff US Army, Republic of Korea, in that role she directed, integrated, coordinated and supervised the General Staff consisting of 500 active military, Civilians, Korean Nationals and Reservists. She oversaw the Headquarter’s $375M budget.
